Restaurants

Brío for restaurants

At a table of six, half the work lands at the end: who ordered what, and how the bill gets split. Brío keeps the tab open from the first order, whether it comes from a phone or from the waiter's terminal. It switches on the same features as fast food; what changes is how they are used.

  • Ordering from the table

The table's QR opens the menu in the browser and the order reaches the kitchen in writing, with its extras and its «no onion». Anyone who would rather wait for the waiter still waits for the waiter: the terminal feeds the same kitchen.

  • One tab per table

The tab is open from the first course. Split it, merge it with the next table's or move it if the group changes seats. The floor plan and its zones are edited from the panel.

  • Set menus

Packs with their courses and their alternatives: starter, main, drink and dessert ordered in one go, at a closed price and with no mental arithmetic.

  • An orderly kitchen

The screen groups by product so things go out in batches, flags whatever is running late and takes notes on substitutions. Run out of something and it is marked right there, leaving the menu instantly. Tickets printed over USB if you prefer paper.

  • Floor and bar, one menu

The same catalogue, the same prices and the same reports for the lunchtime set menu and for the late drinks. There are no two systems to reconcile at closing.

  • Closing and the accountant

Cash-up with a denomination count, receipts with tax number and legal name, and net and VAT by rate — never a single rate in a room that serves both food and drink. CSV export.

Frequently asked questions

Does it replace my POS?
It does the floor and till work: table plan, open tabs, cash or card payment, cash-up and receipts with tax number and legal name. What it does not replace is your accountant: it exports the data so they can close the books.
What if the internet drops mid-service?
The terminal queues sales on the device itself and uploads them on its own once the connection is back, without duplicating them. The screens keep a local copy of the menu: if the network takes more than five seconds, they serve that copy instead of going blank.
Does the customer have to install anything?
No. They scan the table's QR and the menu opens in the browser. They can add it to their home screen, but no app store is involved.
Can each waiter have their own login?
Yes: a PIN per operator, clock-in and clock-out with its own export, and five roles each with its screen and its scope. A leaver or a role change takes effect immediately, with no waiting for a session to expire.
